Charlesglen Toyota Scion launches its new Charlesglen Community Conference Centre:  Rewarding  Non- Profit Organizations with a Spectacular Place to Meet  -  Free of Charge!

For over 20 years Charlesglen Toyota Scion has been honoured to support non-profit organizations making a positive impact on our society locally, civically, and internationally.

Now,  we are pleased to announce that within our new 105,000 square foot facility located in the North West Auto Mall, we have incorporated a 1,400 square foot state of the art- board- room available to non-profit organizations to use free of charge!

Throughout our history the importance of "giving back" has remained a priority for Charlesglen Toyota Scion and we are proud that with the addition of our Charlesglen Community Conference Centre we can further our commitment to building a better world.

Locally, some of our contributions include supporting surrounding communities in North West Calgary and Rocky View County through sponsorship of minor sports teams, donations to local fund raising initiatives, provision of vehicles, monetary donations to community centres, funding technology for local schools 

Civically, we have been a major sponsor of the University of Calgary Dino's Athletic Association for 3 years and support the United Way of Calgary's Annual Corporate Fundraising Initiative by matching every dollar donated by our staff which amounted to over $50,000 last year!

Internationally, our founder and Dealer Principal Glen Richardson has been a member of the Calgary South Rotary Club since 1977. As a Rotarian, one of his commitments is to provide international  service encompassing actions taken to expand Rotary's humanitarian reach around the globe which included the successful initiative to eradicate polio through a worldwide vaccination program.

Incorporated in the advanced design of the Charlesglen Community Conference Centre are:

  • large flat Screen T.V
  • 26 high backed leather arm chairs
  • 13 movable modular desks providing a variety of arrangement options
  • 70 additional chairs for large gatherings
  • 68 inch Smart Board
  • counter space and sink for food and beverage distribution (alcoholic beverages strictly prohibited)

Our onsite café and bakery operated by Guy Joudrie of the highly acclaimed Guy's Café and Bakery in Cochrane, can provide attendees with a variety of gourmet sandwiches, soups, beverages and baked goods. Menu options and online pre-order capability can be conveniently accessed by visiting guyscafe.ca (24 hour advanced ordering is required).

Please note that any outside food and drink is prohibited when using the Charlesglen Community Conference Centre.

The Charlesglen Community Conference is currently available for booking during the following hours excluding holidays:

Mondays :         noon  to 8:30 pm

Tuesdays:         noon to 8:30 pm

Wednesdays:    noon  to 8:30 pm

Thursdays:       noon to 8:30 pm

Fridays:           noon to 5:00 pm

Saturdays:       noon  to 5:00 pm

Sundays:          closed

Repeat use of the Charlesglen Conference Centre is dependent  upon the overall cleanliness of the room and condition of furniture and technical equipment  post- event. Charlesglen Toyota Scion reserves the right to refuse initial or repeat usage to any organization we feel does not meet our criteria of non-profit status and contributing positively to the overall well-being of our society.
