2016 Toyota Prius Coming Soon To Charlesglen Toyota

2016 toyota priusAs any longtime fan of the Toyota brand knows, the Toyota Prius is the most successful and best-selling hybrid vehicle in the history of the automobile, and the really interesting thing is that the model has done so well over the course of the last 15 years despite having gone mostly unchanged over the course of that decade-and-a-half.

Of course, no vehicle can sit back on its laurels for too long, and considering how many hybrid and alternative-energy vehicles have popped up onto the automotive scene over the course of the last five or so years, it clearly was time for Toyota to come out with a more modernized version of the most beloved hybrid cars to have ever rolled on Canadian roads.

The really great news is that the 2016 Toyota Prius will arrive here at Charlesglen Toyota this month, at which point your friendly neighborhood Toyota dealer can get you behind the wheel of one for a test drive. That way, you can see for yourself just how successful the new changes are.

In terms of looks, the updates are pretty obvious. While it still is generally recognizable as a Prius, the lines now are sharper and more modern, a look that continues on to the inside of the car, as well. One nice change is that almost all of the batteries are lithium-ion now, which are smaller and free up some storage space in the back of the car. The new Prius also remains the most fuel efficient vehicle in the industry without a cord, which is desirable to consumers even in a world where gas prices are dropping.

We are thrilled to introduce the next-generation of Toyota Prius to our lot this month, but we're even more excited to help our customers bring them home.
