Toyota Models Among Year's Best Sellers So Far

2016 Toyota CamryWe've known for a very long time that Toyota is one of the best-selling auto brands in the entire world, and here in Canada that's no different. Just a bit south in the U.S., Toyota is the single most dominant auto brand in one of the most voracious auto markets on the planet, but here in Canada the brand continues to show strength in sales numbers as well. In fact, through the first quarter of 2015, two Toyota models (2015 Toyota Corolla and 2015 Toyota RAV4) were among the top-ten sellers in the industry, while a third (2015 Toyota Camry) made the top 25.

At #7, the Corolla was the top-selling Toyota vehicle through the end of March, but there was one month (February) where it actually ranked tops among all passenger cars. Its compact size, slick technology and high efficiency make it a highly desirable automobile to own.

The RAV4, meanwhile, finished 10th at the end of the quarter, as it kicked off the year as Canada's best-selling crossover. It's an attractive, reliable, efficient SUV bound to give the most respected crossovers in Canada a run for their money.

Finally, there's the completely-redesigned Camry, which finished #23 among all vehicles sold through the first three months of 2015. Its first quarter sales are up 28.3 percent over the first quarter of 2014, due largely to the fact that it got a generational upgrade and all of the goodies that come along with it. It remains an elite midsize sedan, which the sales numbers this year help prove.

All of our Toyota models are excellent to own, but it's nice to see so many of them making the list of best-sellers through the first quarter of 2015!
