Lion Dances- Welcome Back World Pak Mei Hup Ging Do M.A.

A beloved Lunar New Year tradition, performed to welcome good fortune and drive away bad luck as the new year begins. In Chinese culture, the lion is a symbol of strengt, courage and protection. The engergetic drumbeads and movement are meant to "wake up" positive energy.

You'll often see the lion "bless" the dealership by weaving through the crowd and playfulling interacting with the guests stopping at various locations to perform moments that represent warding off negativity and inviting luck and success for the year ahead. The performance ends, where it begins, at the main entrance to our dealership. The performnce ends with Cai-Qing which means "Picking the Greens" where we hope to catch the lettuce bringing good fortune for the new year.
