Tacoma TRD Lift Kit Features
The core benefits of the TRD lift kit are bred out of the monotube Bilstein shocks, which work to take on digressive valving that allows you to enjoy even better driving performance both on and off road. The front shocks add 2 inches of lift due to an adjustment of the coil spring positions that’s on the shock tube. Not only are these shocks incredibly capable, but they look good, too, complete with TRD red dust boots and accented with Tuned by TRD graphics. The rear Blistein shocks see a larger body than the standard shock, allowing more oil to get to work to mitigate heat and improve damping response. From on road to off road, the improved shocks of the lift kit provide all-encompassing performance and comfort upgrades.

- Ground Clearance: Increases by 1.7 inches
- Approach Angle: Increases 3.1° to 32°
- Breakover Angle: Increases 1.6° to 22.6°
- Departure Angle: Increases 0.5° to 24°
- TRD Off-Road: Increases 3.5° to 35.5°
Tacoma TRD Lift Kit Grille Style & Function
A gorgeous highlight of the new lift kit is the TRD Pro-style front grille that adorns the Tacoma. Classic TOYOTA lettering is found across the front, and fits with a TSS system sensor that seamlessly fits into the style of the grille. This is the only lift kit that is approved and compatible with the TSS system. Rounding out the grille aesthetic are matching black bezels that take the place of fog lamps, while stilling perfectly blending in with its dynamic off-road theme.
What is the Tacoma TRD Lift Kit Available On?
The Tacoma TRD lift kit is available at Charlesglen Toyota as a dealer-installed option for your Tacoma pickup. It’s available on any V6 4×4 models (with the noted exception of the Double Cab Long Bed style Tacomas as well as the TRD Pro. As well, 2WD and 4-cylinder model Tacomas are not available to be equipped with the lift kit).
What is the Tacoma TRD Lift Kit Warranty?
The TRD lift kit comes backed with the same warranty as any other TRD accessory. You’ll be covered by a 3-year/36,000 mile warranty on parts (when installed prior or at time of sale), or 1-year/12,000 mile warranty for any parts installed after installation.
